(1) Selection of piano types
(2) Selection of piano model
Upright piano models are generally 鋼ç´ä¼´å¥å…¼è· divided according to the height of the body (that is, the height of the piano top cover from the ground). Such as the 125 piano, that is, the height of the piano surface is 125 cm from the ground. There are many types of upright pianos, and their height can be divided into three types:
1. Small upright piano: All types of upright pianos, the height of the piano body is between 110 to 118 cm.
2. Medium-sized upright: All models of upright pianos, with a height of 118-125 cm.
3. Large upright piano: all types of upright pianos, the height of the piano body is between 125-132 cm.
Small space affects the sound of the piano.
(3) The choice of piano style
Choosing the style of the piano is to choose whether the appearance, shape, and color of the piano are in line with your subjective wishes, or whether it is consistent with the style of the space placed in the home. The key to different styles of upright pianos lies in the different shapes of the legs, which bring different artistic feelings to users. In addition, the main housing structural components such as the upper door panel are also different. The following are three different piano appearances:
1. Hidden legs: This piano has no legs. The weight of the entire piano is borne by the body. Its main disadvantage is that it is not stable when standing, especially in the process of moving, it is easy to break the three pedals when leaning forward, so this piano is no longer mass-produced.
2. Split leg style: The legs of this piano are separate from the body, that is, the legs and the body are not connected. This style of piano is more common in the piano style produced in the United States in the 1960s, but it is rarely produced in China. For this style of piano, the legs must be removed when transporting, otherwise it will break if you are not careful.
3. Closed leg style: This style of piano, its legs and the main part are connected by the piano feet, with strong stability, is the main style of piano production at present. The legs of this piano generally have two basic styles: straight legs and bent legs, you can choose according to personal preference when you buy them. There is no difference in piano quality for straight-leg and bent-leg pianos. What the designer considers in the appearance design of the piano is only the overall unified aesthetic issues.
